How to cite

To cite a preprint article

You will find useful information on citing preprint content online by the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) here.
A formal citation can be written as follows, for example:
Author, A (2019). Title of the preprint article. [Preprint]. Submitted to: UCL Open: Environment. [accessed: date] DOI: https://doi.org/10.14324/…
To cite a reviewer report
All reviews performed in UCL Open: Environment are published with a Creative Commons Attribution CC-BY (4.0) licence and also receive a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) from CrossRef (similar to a formal research publication) meaning that reviews are citable. To cite a review, the formal citation should report the current status of the article the review was performed to.

Reviewer, A (2019). Review of ‘Title of the preprint article’. [Preprint]. Submitted to: UCL Open: Environment. [accessed: date] DOI [of review]: https://doi.org/10.14324/…
